PREDICTIONS 12.20.07

Our wars will increasingly be fought with robot soldiers. Within five years, robots will have taken over many of the tasks of the foot soldier, such as reconnoitering a terrain and guarding a location. These robots will tend to look like high-powered weapons on wheels, and many will be under the direct control of bivouacked human soldiers, but the wars of the future will involve machines that do our killing for us.
